"A Sanctuary in the City… Living Faith"

Reading Aloud

Sundays at 9:15 am Room 300

January 29th – Now entering our 22nd year of reading books about how we might live, our Reading Aloud group is just now starting Paul Kalanithi’s book, When Breath Becomes Air. A brilliant young neurosurgeon, Kalanithi is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Unable to continue his career, he writes about his personal formation, his training, and the last months of his life, as he and his wife struggle to hold things together, care for their new daughter, and find meaning as the end approaches.
