Rickman House needs prizes for their monthly BINGO games. Contributions of dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, and other personal care items would be appreciated. There is a box in the church mailroom for your donations.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Volunteers are needed for Habitat for Humanity on Saturdays in June and July. We need volunteers for construction and for food/lunch. Mike Boersma will start signups in the Gathering Place during May following Worship. Interested folks can contact Mike at (269) 720-1409 or mike.boersma@gmail.com.
EDISON SCHOOL OUTREACH PROJECT
With two more months of school, the Edison School children need just about every kind of school implement …Ticonderoga pencils, glue sticks, blunt scissors, erasers, crayons, as well as healthful snacks, sanitizing wipes, and hand sanitizer. Please put your contributions in the box in the Narthex or in the church office. Thank you so much for helping the children in this FPC outreach project.
CROP HUNGER WALK REPORT
Despite the cloudy, drizzly day, the CROP Hunger Walk went as scheduled this past Sunday. It was successful in helping to raise funding for the hungry in our community and worldwide. Many thanks to those of you who contributed to this worthwhile cause!! For those of you who were unable to return your fund-raising packet, please bring it to church and either give it to Laurie Tupper or leave it in her mailbox (#7) in the mailroom. Contributions can still be made by writing a check to CWS/CROP. Thanks again!
