"A Sanctuary in the City… Living Faith"

About

Kalamazoo First Presbyterian Church

Welcome

Thank you for learning more about us! We are proud to have such a dedicated staff, our hardworking committees and of course a strong, supportive and loving congregation. Without them our Christian education programs, outreach opportunities and worship services would not be possible. We hope you will join us!

Kalamazoo First Presbyterian has an interesting history in the community. The church began in a school house on South St. in 1834 when Kalamazoo's founder Titus Bronson, his wife Sally, and 12 other residents began meeting for worship.  We have had several locations over the years. Our current church was the fourth built and was dedicated on Palm Sunday, April 13, 1930. If you have not visited it we invite you to come down for a tour.  If you would like to learn more about the history of our congregation you can find it here.

If you are new to First Presbyterian of Kalamazoo we hope to see you soon! If you have questions please contact us!
