At 10:00 a.m., our Sunday outdoor worship service will be held at FPC’s Pine Island outdoor location, 8882 West Q Avenue, Kalamazoo.
Dress casually and bring your own lawn chair for socially distanced seating. Please be aware that this is an outdoor service, with the normal bugs and sunshine! Use of hats and bug repellent is encouraged.
Because of the Statewide precautions with COVID-19, there are currently NO Sunday services for March 22 and March 29, 2020. We will re-evaluate after March 30th. Please see our YouTube Channel for our “virtual service” which releases at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, in the meantime.
The regular Sunday service at Kalamazoo First Presbyterian Church begins at 10:00 a.m. and includes a traditional worship service with organ and choir music. Lectures and classes for adults are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Children who come to worship participate in the “Moment for Young Worshipers” and then are escorted to Sunday School. The schedule for regular Sunday Services is outlined below.

9:50 a.m. Organ prelude begins, Sanctuary
10:00 a.m. Worship in the Sanctuary
10:15 a.m. Children’s Sunday School
11:15 a.m. Adult classes (check announcements for description, place and exact time)

Some of the classes meet only once while others might be a series of several classes that meet on consecutive weeks.

Children are encouraged to accompany their parents to worship and participate in the “Moment with Young Worshipers” during the worship service. After this the children are escorted to the Church School area for age appropriate learning experiences. Following worship, parents will meet their children in the Church School area.
