Briner Lecturer 2018

At 3:00 p.m. on March 11, we welcome our Briner Lecturer, Al Staggs. His original play, “A View from the Underside: The Legacy of Dietrich Bonhoeffer”, brings to life one of the great heroes of the twentieth century. The audience is brought into the prison cell where Bonhoeffer awaits execution, and listens as he struggles with evil, injustice, and God.

On Monday, March 12, Al will be lecturing on the theme of “Laughter for Life”, relating how humor can contribute to a minister’s service in areas of

preaching, pastoral care, and adjusting to the pressures and demands of the pastorate. Join us Gathering Place at 9:00 am, before the lecture, for

fellowship and coffee. Admission is free for both events.
