"A Sanctuary in the City… Living Faith"

Palm Sunday Services

Our observance of Holy Week will begin with other churches in Bronson Park at 10:00 a.m. with the “Blessing of the Palms.” As Jesus paraded into Jerusalem amid the cultural and political powers of his day, so we will gather together with other churches to share the blessing of the palms, scripture reading, and a short litany for the day. Following this very brief time together, we will proceed into our respective sanctuaries for Worship.

Palm Sunday – Children’s Services:
10:00 a.m. – ”Blessing of the Palms”, Palm Sunday Ecumenical Service in Bronson Park
10:20 a.m. – Palm Sunday Processional in the Worship Service (assemble in the Gathering Place)

** The children will sing during the Palm Sunday worship service (“Hosanna! Hosanna! the little children sing” and “Hosanna! this is a special day”) and during the Easter Sunday worship service (“Goodness Is Stronger Than Evil” and “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High!”). Music sheets are available at the church.
